Thought Partnership
Two minds are more creative than one
Unmade decisions build up like crud on a bike chain until moving forward feels. Just. So. Hard.
I felt that when I was leading my own business—and now, coaching leaders. The internal tension. The cascade of other decisions you can’t make because the first is unsolved. The inability to provide clarity to the people around you.
If you could just carve out some time to finish a thought, you know you’d find a solid solution. But your heads-down time keeps getting pushed.
And you’d like to bounce a few ideas off someone. But you’re not sure who can ask the right questions—push you even—without inserting their own opinion.
Here is what Thought Partnership offers:
No-stakes conversations to help you solve high-stakes problems
Judgement-free questions from curiosity, not politics or agendas
Challenges and feedback to help you identify blind-spots
Trust you know the answer, and help clearing the clutter so you can see it
Access to your full creative problem-solving capacity
Brainstorming, suggestions, and resources—only when you ask
Want to learn more?
It’s lonely at the top.
But it wasn't for me when I was running my previous business because I had a “partner in crime”—my husband and cofounder, Jackson. From the biggest dreams to the grittiest details, we’d bounce ideas, ask probing questions, yes/and our way to better solutions, and not infrequently end up agreeing to disagree. Which is why I also talked to mentors, other business-owners, and past collaborators.
You certainly have these relationships, too, or you wouldn’t be where you are.
So why would you talk to me instead?
You need to think through something that feels risky to share with your team
You need an outside perspective from an objective third party
You’re leading or working solo
You keep hitting the same roadblock and are wondering what you’re missing
You want feedback that you won’t get from people relying on you for their paycheck
You’ve got classic growth challenges: delegation, feedback, hiring/firing, strategic alignment
You’re tired of compromising and walking on eggshells
I think of thought partnership as 90% “pure” coaching, and 10% consulting. I’m mostly here to ask questions, reflect, challenge, and help you make the decisions you want, the way you want to. And, if I have relevant experience, and we both think it would be useful, I’ll share it.

How I Work
-
You can use them whenever you want, but I recommend every two or three weeks.
-
We start by agreeing on what you want to get out of our time together and end with next steps and learnings.
-
Between sessions, I am available by WhatsApp, text, or email to support in any way that’s useful: checking on commitments, talking through challenges, giving feedback on communications, etc.
-
Your investment for our work together ranges from $1,125 to $4,200. I’m happy to discuss discounts if you’re at a non-profit, early in career, located in a low-resource region, etc.
-
After an intro call to get to know each other a bit, my next step is always a free full session to make sure the partnership is a good fit for us both.
