We are living through intense times.
It shows up differently for each of us, but there’s not one of us who doesn't feel it.
We are in an age of breakdown / breakthrough and we cannot know how long it will last or where we will land.
As my teachers would say (quoting Alice Walker),
“Hard times require furious dancing.”
And so, I invite you to a 10-month dance ceremony circle to deepen the relationships that steady us when so much is uncertain: relationship to our spirit/soul/body, to the earth, and to other humans.
We will meet every other month for a 3-hour 7Directions® Dance Ceremony
We will gather in a beautiful dance studio in the woods with heated(!) hardwood floors
You’ll get to connect and deepen with the same small group of women* over 9 months
In between there will be virtual wisdom circles to stay connected to our collective journey
I’ll also offer 30-minute 1:1 integration calls after each ceremony
I’ve felt called for a while to create an ongoing women’s circle in Athens, and the time now feels ripe. A circle like this is where I first encountered 7Directions. I danced in that circle for over a decade, including online through the pandemic and my move away from the original community in San Francisco.
Here’s what it’s offered me, and I hope it offers you, too:
A space where we feel safe to be soft so we can stand up strongly out in the world
A space to fully experience our feelings so they drive us forward, not take us down
A space where we remember pleasure and play so we can return to work rejuvenated
A space to shake off what doesn’t serve us so we can show up in service to what does
A space to connect and build community so we remember we don’t have to do it alone
